2014

Grupo Arquib was established to promote economic and social growth through a Family Office structure. The initiative was led by Wilson Ibanez (CEO), Oliver Quintero, and Humberto Ibañez, who founded the company under the name Grupo Inversiones Arquib in December of that year.


2015 - 2016

Operations began remotely with a clear focus on three business lines: investments in growing companies, financing of construction projects, and the negotiation of discounted assets.

2017 - 2021

The company achieved considerable organic growth. Services were expanded to external clients, new offices were opened, and a business consulting division, along with outsourcing solutions, was introduced.

 

2022

The Corporate Social Responsibility program was enhanced, providing formal support for high-impact social projects. Notably, this included partnerships with the Escuela de Artes Casa Barco Foundation and the WI Racing Team. That year, the company was awarded the Fenalco Solidario Seal, which certifies its commitment to ethical and sustainable practices aimed at holistic development in environmental, economic, and community areas.

2023

To offer more personalized service, the company rebranded as Grupo Arquib, establishing a business group that brings together brands such as Arquib Experts, Arquib Plus Fintech, Maj Cargo, and Arquib Construction & Engineering, among others. That same year, the group was awarded the ANDI Seal, a recognition of its competitive strategy execution and its ongoing commitment to excellence and sustainability.

 

2024

Arquib Plus, one of the companies in the group, has engaged over 500 partners in joint acquisitions, managing more than 20,000 transactions and mobilizing over COP 220 billion, thereby providing liquidity to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). On the social front, 174 children and teenagers have benefited from the Escuela de Artes Casa Barco Foundation, which supports artistic and cultural development within the community.
